Diplômé de Télécom Paris et de l'École Nationale Supérieure de Sciences Appliquées et de Technologie, Xavier Lacot a rejoint Clever Age en 2005. Auteur de plusieurs traductions de Recommandations du W3C (XML Events, RDF : concepts et syntaxe abstraite, Spécification de la Traversée d'Éléments, etc.), il maîtrise les problématiques d’inter-opérabilité et d’accessibilité des applications Web. D’une manière plus générale, son approche de l’informatique met en avant les méthodes et techniques qui favorisent le développement à long terme des architectures Web.
Xavier Lacot s'intéresse en particulier aux problématiques liées aux frameworks PHP, aux Interfaces Utilisateur Riches et au Web sémantique, au sujet desquelles il publie régulièrement dans des magazines internationaux. Il est par ailleurs leader du pôle de développement PHP de Clever Age, et dirige le pôle d'expertise de l'entreprise depuis juin 2007.
